101 staff of NIM awarded Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the P.R. China Souvenir Medal

On 23rd Sep. 2019, NIM held a ceremony of 101 NIM staff being awarded Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the P.R. China Souvenir Medal. 

During the ceremony, Directors of NIM delivered the Medals to the recipients and expressed their congratulations. Mr Fang Xiang, Director of NIM said, the development of NIM has always been relied on the selfless dedication of predecessors and generations of people who are making unremitting endeavor. He hopes that all staff of NIM would stay true to the mission and remember the mission, strive for a new era for the metrology course.

There are 101 staff of NIM being awarded this Souvenir Medal, including 73 retired persons, and 23 current employees of NIM, Director Fang Xiang, Vice Director Duan Yuning, Wu Fangdi, Chief Research Fellow Zhang Zhonghua, Li Tianchu among others are awarded for their outstanding contribution.

Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the P.R. China Souvenir Medal are awarded on behalf of the CPC Central Committee, State Council, the recipients include veterans, persons won National Awards once, foreign friends made remarkable contributions to the founding of the P.R.China etc.
