NIM and Zhongguancun Life Science Park Signed a Cooperation Framework Agreement

On November 10, NIM and Beijing Zhongguancun Life Science Park Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongguancun Life Science Park"), signed a cooperation framework agreement in the Zhongguancun Life Park. The "Innovation-based Platform of Measurement - Standard in Life Science" was unveiled on the same day.

The signing ceremony was presided over by Han Bo, Deputy General Manager of Zhongguancun Development Group. Before the signing ceremony, Wang Wenli, General Manager of the Zhongguancun Life Science Park, introduced the overview and content of this cooperation, and wished to elevate the capability of innovation and transformation for enterprises in the park by working together with NIM.

Fang Xiang, Director of NIM, pointed out that the cooperation between both parties was of great significance, he wished both parties would work together and make great contributions to national life science.

Zhang Yanyou, Head of Changping District, indicated that the cooperation between NIM and the Zhongguancun Life Science Park opened a new chapter in cooperation between industry and institutes, which would surely inject vitality into the capital and Changping to realize the innovation-driven development strategy and build a "high-grade, high-precision and advanced" economic structure.

Zhao Changshan, Chairman of the Zhongguancun Development Group, expressed his ardent expectation for the cooperation between both parties, wishing that it would be an opportunity to promote the rapid development of the life science industry in the park on the basis of metrology and standards.

According to the agreement, both parties will jointly build an "Innovation-based Platform of Measurement - Standard in Life Science", and provide the biotechnological enterprises in the Zhongguancun Life Science Park with all-round, personalized services by combining the advantages of NIM in bio-metrology and standard technologies, in areas of scientific research projects, testing and calibration, product quality control, technological research and development, standard developement, training consultation and resource sharing. At the same time, the platform, as a link, will utilize the resource advantages of the technical committee on bio-metrology of NIM to promote the effective connection between resources of measurement standards, technologies, and industries and the enterprises in the park, thus serving the development of high-tech enterprises of biotechnology in Zhongguancun Life Science Park.
