NIM and Nanjing Government Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On July 5, Dr Duan Yuning, Vice Director of NIM, and Qu Weimin, Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area and Party Secretary of Pukou District Committee, signed the strategic cooperation agreement. Sun Ning, Director of the Nanjing Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, and Zhou Lili, Deputy Director of the Nanjing Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, attended the meeting.

According to the agreement, NIM will support key enterprises and research institutes in Nanjing to participate in international cooperation and assistance in measurement, accelerate bilateral and multilateral mutual recognition of measurement, and promote scientific and technological exchanges and trade development between Nanjing and the countries and economies along the "Belt and Road"; both parties will jointly promote the construction of important measurement and testing platforms such as the "Measurement and Testing Services Base for Nanjing's High-end Manufacturing" and the "National Measurement and Testing Center for Biological Products Industry" in Jiangbei New Area to serve the development of local emerging industries.
