Chongqing Municipal Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau Visited NIM

On April 26, a delegation of nine people, led by Yang Hongwei, Director of Chongqing Municipal Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau visited NIM for research and exchange. Fang Xiang, Director of NIM, Song Shuying, Vice director of NIM, and responsible persons of relevant departments, met the delegation. Both parties exchanged views on furthering exchanges and deepening pragmatic cooperation.

Fang Xiang introduced the overview of the NIM, recent work progress, and the scientific and technological cooperation with provincial and municipal metrology institutions. Yang Hongwei presented the cooperation of the Chongqing Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau and the Chongqing Institute of Metrology and Quality Inspection with local enterprises engaged in industries such as automobile and motorcycle, and smart manufacturing. Both parties also conducted exchanges on planning to establish a cooperation mechanism, organize in-depth pragmatic cooperation, and jointly promote the construction of national quality infrastructure (NQI).

During the visit, the delegation visited the laboratories of large-torque measurement, time and frequency standards, chemical measurement and reference materials in the Changping campus.
