The 2019 Meeting of the National Measurement Data Center Held in Baotou

A few days ago, the 2019 Meeting of the National Measurement Data Center was successfully held in Baotou City, Inner Mongolia. Wang Ruidan, Vice Director of the National Science & Technology Infrastructure Center, Yang Yuqin, Researcher of the Planning Office, Department of Technology and Finance, SAMR, Song Shuying, Vice Director of NIM etc., attended the meeting and delivered speeches. More than a hundred representatives from the Office of the National Measurement Data Center, construction units, co-construction units, etc. attended the meeting.

First of all, the list of excellent workers of the National Metrology Standard Resource Sharing Platform in 2018 was announced at the conference, and these workers were awarded.

In the opening special report, Shi Lei, Vice Director of the Division of Operational Supervision, National Science & Technology Infrastructure Center, made a detailed introduction and explained scientific data management and the construction of National Science Data Center. The Office of the National Measurement Data Center summed up the work in the year of 2018, and arranged the work of 2019. Professor Wang Jianhua, Principal of Training Center of ICT, CAS, Dr. Cui Xiaohai and Dr. Xiong Xingchuang of NIM, Yang Dong of the Science and Technology Management Department, etc. delivered special reports on the construction of "National Measurement Data Center", microwave power measurement data sharing, initial study on metrology and testing of big data, "Sharing Cup" Innovation Competition of Metrology Technology Resource Sharing Service for College Student and other themes.

The delegates also delivered reports on the measurement science data special service, such as metrology development in Heilongjiang, gravitational acceleration, time and frequency, radiotherapy dose science data and training, measurement data support NQI construction, etc.

The National Measurement Data Center was formerly known as the National Metrology Standard Resource Sharing Platform, which was one of the first 23 national science and technology resource sharing service platforms. In June 2019, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance jointly released the Notice on the Optimization and Adjustment of the National Science and Technology Resource Sharing Service Platform. In the end, 20 national science data centers, such as the "National High Energy Physics Science Data Center", and 30 national biological germplasm and experimental material resource banks, such as the "National Important Wild Plant Germplasm Resource Bank" were realized, including the National Measurement Data Center. After such optimization and adjustment, the National Measurement Data Center will make innovations on the concept of shared services and promote the opening and sharing of metrology science data resources around the integration of measurement data resources.
