Energy saving and emission reduction is a national development strategy. The extensive environmental protection treatment mode has greatly affected the economic development and people's life in China. The accurate treatment mode based on accurate measurement of emissions is international trend. Considering the present situation of atmospheric pollution control in China, the team established technical system, which achieved the goal of measureable, reportable and verifiable greenhouse gases and air pollutants emission. The problem of identifing what the pollutants are, how much, where from and where to is solved by high precision real time measurement, inverse, analysis and verification of the pollutants emission volume, this supports the goal of air pollutants effective treatment under lower cost.
Since 2018, the team has developed 5 national standards and 4 national measurement technical specifications, applied for 12 invention patents, and published many academic papers in internationally renowned journals such as Phys. Rev. Lett. and Metrologia.
