Quantum devices play a crucial role to many modern measurement standards. The quantum device group of NIM was established in 2010, with its goal to build NIM’s capability of making quantum devices for measurement standards. The devices that are studied at present include: the Josephson junction devices for quantum voltage standards, the sensor devices for the microwave power standards and heat detection, the transition edge sensor for the single photon detection, the graphene devices for the quantum resistance standards, etc.
