The Mass Spectrometry Research & Development Lab was established in 2003, focusing on the development and promotion of mass spectrometry technology. The research team has broken through the key common technology of miniature mass spectrometry and reversed the situation that the mass spectrometer is difficult to be manufactured independently by China for a long time. We have proposed and developed an ultra-high sensitive MS with the function of selective enrichment of gaseous ions. Moreover, the research team has established open mass spectrometry technology and its application platform, which provides critical supports for innovative research, product and equipment development in related fields at home and abroad, and won two second prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Awards.
