Dr. DAI Xinhua

Dr. DAI Xinhua is Vice Director of the National Institute of Metrology (NIM), China and a senior researcher of NIM.

Dr. DAI has a profound experience in metrological scientific research. She has led or participated in more than 20 scientific research projects, published more than 70 SCI-indexed papers, and was the awardee of National Science and Technology Progress Awards (the Second Prize) for three times. She is an Awardee for the March 8 Red-Banner Holders, was selected into China’s New Century Talent Project, and has received the honorary title of “Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contribution”.

Prior to her current position, she has held a number of managerial positions, including Deputy Director of the R&D Management Department (International Cooperation Department), Director of the Nano Materials Metrology Division, Director of the Center for Advanced Measurement Science (Division of Life Science Metrology), successively.

In her capacity as NIM’s Vice Director, Dr. DAI oversees Department of R&D Management, Department of Retirement and Department of Changping Campus Operation. She also works as the Director Board’s liaison with the Division of Time and Frequency (Office of the National Time and Frequency Measurement Center), Division of Optical Metrology, Division of Ionizing Radiation, Center for Medical Metrology, and Center for Metrology Strategy and Theory Study.
