Topics and Papers Submission

The areas to be covered in TEMPBEIJING 2008 will include but are not limited to::

  • Development of temperature scales
  • Research on temperature standard
  • Resistance and thermistor thermometry
  • Thermocouple thermometry
  • Radiation thermometry
  • Thermometer calibration methods and facilities
  • Newly developed temperature measurement technology
  • Temperature control
  • Thermal and thermophysical property measurements
  • Applied techniques on temperature and thermal measurements
        

Presentation and conference style

The conference will include technical sessions for oral presentations and poster presentations.

The following categories of presentations are planned:

  • Keynote speeches (invited speakers)
  • Oral presentation
  • Poster presentations

The manuscripts of full texts of papers will be reviewed and those accepted will be published in the proceedings.

Conference Language

The official language is English. No interpreters and translation will be provided.

Audio-video equipment

Public address system, overhead projector and multimedia projection facilities will be available in all sessions. Video CD or DVD players can be provided if informed in advance.

Registration Fee

The registration fee for authors and participants is expected to be $600 USD.

Submission of Papers

The submitted papers should be original, unpublished. Each paper is requested to submit a one-page abstract of 300-500 words in A4 page format. The abstract should include results and achievements of research in the indicated field, principles, methods, key techniques, essential equations etc.

Abstracts are required to be submitted by March 31, 2008 . Please indicate if you prefer oral or poster presentation and to which topic the paper belongs. The submitted abstracts, as well as the full texts, will be reviewed by the Program Committee. The Organizing Committee will inform the authors about the acceptance of papers by May 31, 2008 , and at the mean time, the authors will get information about style for submission of full text. The full text should be ready before July 1 st , 2008 .
