Quality Management System

The NIM Quality Management System (QMS) for calibration and measurement services is based on ISO/IEC 17025 and the relevant requirements of ISO Guide 34. The QMS satisfies the requirements of the International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM) for recognition of national measurement standards and has been accredited by a joint assessment of CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) and APMP (Asia Pacific Metrology Program). The Calibration and Measurement Capabilities (CMCs) published in BIPM (International Bureau of Weights and Measures) in its KCDB (Key Comparisons Data Base) are authenticated as the highest traceability level in China by CNAS.

Traceability Requirments

More Confidence in Certificates:

NIM is a signed member of CIPM MRA since 1990. The agreement allows the signatory NMIs to mutually recognize national measurement standards, as well as the calibration and measurement certificates issued by one another. The CMCs can be accessed in BIPM website and are also accredited as the traceability basis of standard measurement by some international organizations, such as CGPM (Conference Generale des Poids et Mesures) and its members, OIML (International Organization of Legal Metrology), IAEC, ILAC and IAF.
