Improvement for Density Tracing System

The project mainly focused on establishment of silicon sphere density measurement apparatus by pressure of flotation method. The apparatus had been established to compare and measure the density of silicon spheres, using the pressure of flotation method. The uncertainty of the density difference is 2×10-7. Technical modification of calibration apparatus for Vibration tube liquid density meter online. The expanded uncertainty of the density meter calibration achieved 0.1 kg/m3 (k=2). 

The apparatus had been established to compare and measure the density of silicon spheres, using the pressure of flotation method. The uncertainty of the density difference is 2×10-7. the accuracy of the temperature control precision of the main water bath can be 1mK;The stability of temperature (1 hour) can be 0.06mK, and the long time stability of temperature (11 hour) can be 0.081mK. The stability of pressure (1 hour) can be 3Pa.

The main work of technical modification of calibration apparatus is to making the constant temperature control system, improving the circling system and the measurement system. The range of the testing temperature extend to (10~70)℃. The range of the density extend to (650~1400)kg/m3. The expanded uncertainty of the density meter calibration achieved 0.1 kg/m3 (k=2).
