Overview

Lab of Vibration and Gravity is responsible for research, establishment and maintenance of national measurement standard measuring devices in the field of Vibration & Shock,Gravity, traffic speed, wind speed and rotational speed. The laboratory consists of three working groups: Vibration & Shock group, Speed measurement group and Gravity group.

International Cooperation

  • NIM is an official member of Consultative Committee for Acoustics, Ultrasound and Vibration (CCAUV), CIPM and also a member of Working Group for Key Comparisons (CCAUV-KCWG) and Working Group on Strategic Planning (CCAUV-SPWG).

  • NIM was the participant of CCAUV Key Comparison: CCAUV.V-K1.1 and CCAUV.V-K2, and the pilot lab of APMP TCAUV Key Comparison APMP.AUV.V-K1.2 and Supplementary Comparison APMP.AUV.V-S1.
