MoU Signed between NIM and LGC

        

On November 8, 2011, Mr Zhang Yukuan, Director of the National Institute of Metrology (NIM), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr David Richardson, Chief Executive of LGC Limited of the United Kingdom at NIM campus. The MoU aims at improving research collaborations in fields of biological measurements and chemical analysis between NIM and LGC. Relevant chief and staff of both parties were present in the signing ceremony.

LGC is the UK’s designated National Measurement Institute for chemical and biochemical analysis , and is also the host organization for the UK’s Government Chemist function.

NIM’s contacts with LGC have lasted for years. A series of measurement research collaboration projects that will be launched hereafter the MoU on area of food safety and clinical applications will bring benefits to the both parties.
